Our cabins are cleaned using Eucalyptus products distilled from ethically sourced raw materials and using early extraction methods. The eucalyptus oils and infusions represent the very essence of the Snow Country, with ‘nothing but the tree’ in every bottle of essential oil. Eucalyptus leaves, lavender flowers and bespoke batches of herbs and citrus are gently distilled using mountain rainwater, to create pure essential oils and hydrosols. Our cabins smell as good inside as the fresh mountain air outside!
A range of paper products that are not only better for the Environment but also more beneficial to the people who use them. All their toilet paper, tissues and paper towels are made out from sustainable bamboo plantations and are 100% chemical free. Not only that, 50% of the profits go towards sustainable projects across the world.
Guests are treated on arrival to some exceptional local chocolate . Curiosity Chocolates are proudly and lovingly handmade artisan chocolates crafted right here in Jindabyne. Curiosity Chocolates are named after a Jindabyne landmark: Curiosity Rocks, an aboriginal sacred site at one end of Lake Jindabyne. The ancient pile of massive boulders is all that remains of a glacier's path during the last ice age. It can only be viewed when the lake is at normal levels. Where possible they use local ingredients such as Alpine Pepper, raw honey from their own beehives, locally grown hazelnuts and fruit and herbs from their garden.
We also offer guests a local beer to drink on the deck after their journey to Hygge. You'll find lagers in the fridge from the Dalgety Brewing Company, situated on the banks of the Snowy River, a company which has been producing a variety of beers and ciders since 2017 under the eye of master brewer Bart.
